What an engaging tool to use in the classroom!! VoiceThread allows students to work together and interact with others. Students can 'group conversations which are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world.' (VoiceThread, 2007-2009) What a fantastic way to build networks and partnerships from all around the world. My main concern with voiecthread was the privacy issues, then i discovered ed.voicethread which is for use within schools. All necessary privacy acts have been carried out to ensure this is a child friendly and safe site to use.

Students are able to work collaborative to gain a better understanding and further their knowledge on particular issues. Students are also able to interact and take place in debates from around the world.

Another great site i found that can give me ideas help me incorporate voicethread in my classroom is VoiceThread 4 Education - check it out, it's great: http://voicethread4education.wikispaces.com/

  1. Hi Jasmin,
Like you and many other's, i find this tool really engaging. Student's can work together on even the most simplist of tasks and do it in real time with no fuss. Great for distance education or even composite classes, colaberatively contibuting to a topic on varied levels, stimulating cognitive growth.
    Nice work,

  2. Hi Jasmin,
Great ideas on building partnerships all over the world. I was becoming a little lost in this site until I read your posting and you directed me to the VoiceThread 4 Education application. There are some interesting ideas here and I hope to use this in my classroom also. It would be great to hear your thoughts on an intended lesson plan in the future.

    Regards, Erin
